The Lady's Woven Cape is suitable for all standard gauge machines with the weaving facility.  The sample was knitted using fine stranded wool (3 fold) as the backing and Sirdar Super Chunky for the weaving yarn.  

Please note that any other yarns can be substituted for the backing or weaving yarns if specified yarns are no longer available, provided they knit to the tension required.

The pattern is simple to knit with a minimum of shaping.  It's a great start to using the weaving facility on your machine.
